One of the things I remember about my brother was when I was little he used to watch me when our parents went out. He told me after they left "you can stay up as long as Mom & Dad are gone, but as soon as that car pulls in that driveway you better be in that bed pretending your sleeping, because if you aren't that will be the last time I'll let you stay up". So when they got home I beat feet to my room jumped in bed and when mom opened the door to my room I indeed was sleeping snoring and all.
All though there were many miles between us for a lot of years and too few phone calls and money, every time I picked up that phone (his birthday and Christmas) it was as though we had spoke everyday. But you see that was how it was with my brother ,so easy to talk to,so easy to love.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about him, I wish I could pick up that phone and spend his birthday and Christmas with him again. I love and miss you! Your Sis Cheryl

I don't know how I missed this for over a year. Thank you Cheryl for sharing. I would love to hear more stories of you and Dad and even pictures of Grandma I don't think I have seen many at all. Thanks again. Lots of Love, Amy
